Booking through Global Journeys was just so easy   1 , Australia, May 2013
This was my first time booking through Global Journeys and I have to say it was just so easy I have recommended the site to friends and family. I booked a tour with Trafalgar, the second time I have travelled with them, and I would do it again. If you are somebody, like me, who does a lot of research on tours, prices and you know what you are after ...read more then Global Journeys is great. Everything was organized, the prices were excellent, all documents were sent in plenty of time. Trafalgar are exceptional with their tours. They provide all the information you need but YOU need to read it. I never felt rushed on this tour and Peru is an Amazing country with so much to see. Trafalgar did an excellent job to make this experience unforgettable. Our Tour Director, Angel, was a passionate local and extremely knowledgeably who always kept you updated and informed and as travelling as a solo female I always felt comfortable, at ease and safe. Make sure you read all the information on the particular country, if you do that there will be no surprises, except for the fantastical, organized, unexpected ones. If you know what you are after and have done your research, Global Journeys is a great, hassle free, convenient way to book your tour.
Thankyou Trafalgar!   0 , Australia, May 2013
It was very well organised. Tour Director Diego Campuzano did an excellent job. Good value for money. Covered lots of places I could only dream about. Good camaraderie all around. I would recommend it very highly to my friends and family.
A very good tour, well organised and not rushed   0 , Australia, May 2013
The tour was interesting and very well organised, all the optional tours were excellent. The trip encompassed much more than the program indicated. Lake Orta option was outstanding, time in Stresa and Genoa interesting, even poor weather in Cinque Terra was overcome so we had great views. Our guide Deborah was efficient and helpful always. Coach was ...read more cramped on right hand side and exit steps at back extremely steep with poor handrail or grip on one side only. Accommodation excellent except in La Spezia which was basic with poor noise insulation. Food was always good and plentiful. All in all a very good tour, well organised and not rushed.
A great rail journey   2 , Australia, May 2013
Great travelling by train as we were able to move around freely. Our Tour director was very friendly and knowledgeable and the hotels used were in good convenient locations and meals provided were tasty.
A wonderful journey through Switzerland   3 , Australia, May 2013
The train travel including the Glacier Express gave great views of the beautiful countryside. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Switzerland and was available & helpful at all times. The accommodation and meals were excellent and the option trips added to the enjoyment & understanding of Swiss history & culture. We would recommend this tou ...read morer.
Thankyou Trafalgar!   0 , Australia, May 2013
An excellent introduction to western Canada and Alaska.
Tour covered the major highlights we wanted to see.   4 , Australia, May 2013
Overall the tour covered the major highlights we wanted to see. In particular we were impressed with Mt Vernon, Monticello, the field guide at Gettysburg and Jamestown. Feedback was given to Trafalgar that the Shenandoah element was very disappointing particularly the standard of accommodation and its overall relevance to the tour. Far more time should ...read more have been allocated to visiting significant sites in Richmond e.g the Confederate White House. One visit in Richmond (to a church) grossly understates the importance of the town in an historic highlights context. We would have preferred more time in Jamestown fort and less time in Colonial Williamsburg. The optional excursion in Colonial Williamsburg was not value for money. The Amish experience was disappointing and largely overstated in the tour itinerary.
Thoroughly enjoyed the tour   0 , Australia, May 2013
Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our Tour consultant, Georgie, was excellent - helpful in every way. Organisation was very efficient and travel arrangements went without a hitch! Tour was engaging - good tour group, excellent tour guide - very good local guides, coach was comfortable, pace was fine. A couple of long travel days but necessary. Itinerary ...read more was excellent and gave a very good sample of what is on offer. Would definitely do it all again.
A fantastic well organised tour   0 , Australia, May 2013
It was a fantastic well organised tour. Our tour director Richard Benne was really experienced and so knowledgeable, which meant nearly everything was smooth. It was a tour that took us to many fabulous places.
Excellent tour and director   1 , Australia, May 2013
The tour was was a lot of fun and our tour director was excellent. I didn't understand why we need to decide on the optional excursions within the first 3 days, it does not work anyway, and Jason was still taking money until the last day. The theme song that Jason selected and played to wake us up was a fantastic idea. The mood on the coach was getting ...read more better and better as the tour went on culminating in the farewell dinner on the last day in Madrid.
Thankyou Global Journeys!   1 , Australia, May 2013
We were very pleased with the tour and will recommend to others. There were a couple of times when we reached the hotel late in the afternoon when a more direct driving route could have saved an hour or two.
Global Journeys are our travel advisors for our future trips!   0 , Australia, May 2013
We returned home last night full of wonderful memories of our trip. Besides the Trafalgar segment we travelled throughout other areas of USA and Singapore which proved exciting. Now to the Trafalgar side of things. Arrived New York as scheduled and booked in to the Marriott East side which you had arranged. This went smoothly after the long flight. ...read more Following day we meet our Tour Director Ben who was to prove a hugh success for our experience. The trip was a wonderful journey for Judith and I and we met great people. If you were to ask me the highlights I would definitely say Washington DC and Niagara Falls. Don't get me wrong it was all great. Ben was a most informed Director and he lifted our interests through his continued detailed knowledge of the areas visited. We had a TV crew with us on some days preparing a TV campaign for the Morning show on behalf of Trafalgar. This will air on Channel 7 June 17th to 21st and will no doubt have some snippets of the tour. The only comment I would make that we all would like to have had more 2 night stops and less of the one stops. However I do realize that to travel the distances we did this would be hard to do. Trafalgar do it right and as this was our 3rd trip with them I am sure you can see we are more than happy with them. Georgie I found your service in arranging this for us to be most professional and may I say a sincere thank you for all you did. You are our travel person for our future trips! Again our sincere thanks for your service to our requirements.
A most enjoyable ten days, thanks for the memories   2 , Australia, May 2013
I was hesitant to join a tour group, but this group of people were very friendly and cooperative, and punctual. Our bus driver, Gabor, was one of the most polite, friendly and helpful people I have had the pleasure to meet, and a safe and professional driver. All the included tours were most enjoyable, and the added tours I went on were also enjoyable, ...read more especially the dinner cruise. By all accounts, the other tours were also enjoyed by the group. Prague and Budapest are two of my favourite cities, and I will be revisiting them soon, but will be staying a week in each city, at the least. Ingrid Isopi, our tour guide was very professional, extremely knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I was informed she was 74 years old, and I still don't believe it. She made the tour for me. She was fabulous. There is however, one thing that was quite annoying. That was the constant pushing of the tips. Three or four people around me commented, and were also unhappy. A job well done will always be appreciated monetarily. But, it was a most enjoyable ten days. Thanks for the memories.
We had a fabulous time   0 , Australia, May 2013
Saw great scenery, had many memorable experiences and made many new friends. The Trafalgar tour manager and bus driver were first class people, they looked after us well. We felt safe and comfortable while in their care. The only disappointment was that the Trafalgar Tour manager did not accompany the group on the Volendam Inside Passage Cruise. We were really well looked after by Trafalgar   0 , Australia, May 2013
I felt we were really well looked after by Trafalgar. The tour guide was exceptional. I felt we got to spend enough time in each place to get a good feel for it. The accommodation was great and the pace was not really restful but you know that before you go! Only complaint I thought that some of the 'included meals' could have been better and we should ...read more have been at least given a choice of menu instead of the set menu. An organised coach tour is a fabulous way to travel around Europe, its so much easier being dropped off at the 'packed' tourist sites, than having to find your own way there. The extra information given to us by our tour guides was amazing - you don't get that with independent travel. I was impressed that I was able to organise this trip via phone and internet with Global JOurneys, without having to step into a travel agency.
Loved not having to wait in long lines   3 , Australia, Apr 2013
It was a well planned tour. Loved not having to wait in long lines. Tour guide fantastic and knowledgeable. The extra excursions were well worth it. We would love to go on another tour.
Simply amazing!   0 , Australia, Apr 2013
The whirl was a whirl but never dull. I actually enjoyed the pace. Perfect selection of places visited. My only crisicism is the local tour guides tend to take you on meaningless sights and not much time left to shop...it's a girl thing!
Enjoyed the tour itinerary, but found some of the hotels poor   0 , Australia, Apr 2013
We enjoyed the tour itinerary, but found that the air conditioning in some hotels was not working correctly. The food quality and food service in the hotel at Cappadocia was very poor. The tour guide, Altay, was very good at his job.
We stayed in excellent hotels and saw a lot of California   0 , Australia, Apr 2013
We stayed in excellent hotels and saw a lot of California. Patrice Dias was an excellent guide and very caring. I had to go to a dentist when I broke a tooth and she arranged that. Another man had to go to hospital and she handled that very well. The tour was not too rushed and there was free time to do your own thing. We liked that.
Enjoyed the whole trip   0 , Australia, Apr 2013
The drivers were excellent and the Guide was great. Passengers were excellent company and we had a terrific time.
