The tour combined many alps, substantial snow in places and castles, as well as quaint villages. There was great variety, much of which is spectacular. The title of the tour gives it away! Some hotels which were rated as 4 stars were really ...read more only 2 stars on an independent rating. As with most Cosmos tours, do not expect to be centrally located with accommodation. What shocked most guests was that we had to drag our luggage up to our rooms and bring it down. The problem here is that most hotels had tiny lifts holding 2-3 passengers at most. Also, there were stairs always involved. This is the first coach tour of any company I have done which did not bring luggage to our rooms and back. There were some elderly couples who really struggled. This luggage issue was only announced in the welcome meeting. Hannah from GJ was excellent in booking the tour and she has now booked subsequent ones.

This was the 2nd of 3 tours I booked with Georgie at Global Journeys. There are not enough superlatives for the scenery on this tour. However, clean rooms and hot showers and usually fabulous breakfasts made for a pleasant stay.

Very good, organised Tour Director Zsofia and coach driver Michele. We were very impressed by the prompt action Cosmos took in organising a temporary coach and driver to meet us off the Glacier Express to drive us to Lucerne. Michele and the coach were held up by a fatal traffic accident only an hour after leaving Tasch. We were fortunate that the cities in Switzerland are close together and that there was a spare driver and coach in a nearby city awaiting the start of a tour who could assist.

My favourite area was the Dolomites mountains. Other favourites: in St Moritz we were provided with a free local transport card and used this to travel by local train then cable car to La Diavolezza - lots of snow and fabulous photos. Lucerne was beautiful and Turin was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this tour - just go!!

My wife and I spent part of our honeymoon on a Cosmos tour, the "13 Day Alpine Adventure, Bernina & Glacier Express". From the very start, we were warmly welcomed by our tour director (David) and the rest of our group. Over 13 breathtaking days, we travelled the mountains and valleys of Italy and Switzerland (briefly in Germany and Austria) with incredible food, tours and overnight stays. One quick tip - make sure you get enough sleep! The tour can be tiring if you're falling behind on rest. We both loved our experience and will definitely book with Global Journeys and Cosmos again!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable trip. Each day brought amazing highlights and a feast for keen photographers. Itinerary was well planned to enable us to visit/ see from the Alps to the Dolomites travelling through various countries.

A great trip on the whole, but the weather was extremely changeable and the optional excursions to Gornergrat and Stanserhorn, for which we'd paid a substantial amount, were a complete waste of time because the low cloud meant that we had no views at all. Excellent tour highly recommend this tour.Tour director was excellent and very knowledgeable.Well worth the money. Hotels were of a good standard and very clean only one poor meal in the hotels.The new hotel on tour was very good, great position right on the lake Hotel Lumin.

The highlight was definitely the Swiss Alps but the whole tour was interesting and visually stunning. Our tour guide was always helpful and polite and there was never any need for berating the tour group as we were always on time and we all seemed to get on well, especially towards the end of the tour when we knew each other better. A wonderful trip. Each day seemed to bring new highlights and scenic wonders. Some places are well known whilst others are little heard of. A great itinerary and a feast for keen photographers. The mid Autumn weather was kind to us and the mad summer crowds had largely abated. We concluded mid September was a good time to do this trip, with the added bonus of the spectacular Octoberfest opening parade in Munich, where the tour commenced. Our guide, Marco, and our bus driver Massimo should be in the Cosmos "Hall of Fame". True professionals. The tour tends to pass quickly through Bern and Interlaken and ends abrubtly in Zurich. Interlaken itself is not interesting but is central to some truly wonderful attractions, and is well worth 3 or 4 days after the bus tour if time allows. It is easily reached by train from Zurich.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. The weather was great right through so we were really lucky. Probably only drawback were some of the accommodation with very hard beds and air-conditioning that wasn't efficient or didn't exist in some places, all in all tho a fabulous trip !

It was nice but not perfect, we had a few bad hotels, and the included dinners very poor choices - except one. Also a few did not have wifi. In my personal opinion, the local tour guides, are a waste of money and time. Would be better to do a tour with the couch, giving out some maps and relevant info and free time to visit wherever you are interested in. Well organised tour, not rushed, we did enjoy it a lot! I would travel any time with Cosmos!

Overall a great tour with the most amazing scenery.The wifi on the coach was not quite adequate, but at least the tour guide let us know in advance. We were lucky with the weather which made a big difference. I would do this tour again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Swiss adventure. As expected some of the accommodation was below expectations but you take the good with the bad. We only had 14 passengers on the bus which allowed for plenty of room and we were always on time so relatively stress free compared to a full bus load of passengers. We toured the most beautiful stunning mountains, lakes and cities of Switzerland, Italy and Austria. The breath-taking landscape made it such a memorable trip.

Great scenic tour, bus driver excellent as mountain passes very narrow , Flo our tour guide was excellent, ran like clockwork However tour accommodation was poor to fair only, most way out of town area. The tour was perfect in every way..amazing scenery and very well organised by Hannah at Global Journeys. Our Tour Director Mihaela went above and beyond in her efforts to make this enjoyable for everyone on the tour.
The mountain roads, the train journeys and the optional excursions were fantastic to experience.

Fantastic trip, well run, Cosmos was professional and very organised. Best memory was being snowed on at the top of one of the mountains in St Moritz, so lovely, crisp, clean, pretty, surreal, soft.
