Cosmos Niagara Tour 2 , QLD, Australia, May 2018
Overall a good tour. A couple of long days on the bus but that goes with the territory. Some accommodation was below what we expected.
Best trip ever!   2 , QLD, Australia, Sep 2017
By far the best holiday we have had so far thanks to Cosmos Tours and perfect weather. The tour guide Elise was so knowledgeable and couldn't do enough to make our holiday enjoyable and everything easy and comfortable. The places we visited will go down in memory as some of the best in our lives it was all perfect!
8 Day New York , Niagara Falls, Philadelphia, Washington DC 12 , New Zealand, Jun 2017
We would never have seen as much as we did if we travelled solo. It was exciting to see the places we have seen in movies and on the news etc. highlights were every day! But I must say the monuments in Washington were fantastic and very emotional. I,m keen to read more American history now.

Our tour mix was good, Americans, Australians, English and ...read more kiwis! A young schoolboy and his grandmother , young couples and older couples, families and single travellers. The ones we got to know the most were those who did the optional extras. Everyone was really looking out for each other and couples joined up with a single if they were going somewhere, it was a friendly bunch. The optional extras were good. Everyday we moved 4 rows which was good, gave us another view and we met a new person in the seats across the aisle!

The hotels were all very good. Only Niagara Falls had a fridge and a supermarket next door to buy real milk! The New York hotel had no beverage making facilities in the rooms. New York location fantastic, Niagara had a bus stop at the gate into the falls and you could purchase a daily pass , Philadelphia was in the city, Washington hotel was out of town in the most beautiful old town / suburb Alexandria.

Day 1 was a non event, we just got tour information handed to us. Everyone commented it would have been nice to have a social hour for people to introduce themselves etc especially as everyone staying in same hotel and get a short outline of the following day. At times it felt like we were asking the Tour Director what time do we meet etc . The Globus handbook for the tour could be written so that it could be used as a trip diary etc. Local guides in all places were really good. We had never been in a bus tour holiday before. We enjoyed it very much and will now probably do another one.
Great holiday, fuss free 2 , NSW, Australia, May 2017
Great holiday, France tour director had done it all before, and handed out information sheets to all so we knew what was expected, well done. Niagara was amazing, had enough free time in New York to do some exploring. Hotel near central park was in good position, but like some hotels in USA had no fridge or coffee or tea making facilities. Washington ...read more tour and Philadelphia all excellent. Igor was a great coach driver, as it was coming up to memorial day weekend and extremely busy. We both thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Both our USA tours west and east coast booked through Jemma at Global Journeys, would recommend them, fuss free.
Very enjoyable trip 4 , Australia, Oct 2014
Very enjoyable trip, however I feel that the following could be improved. Meet & Greet - I arrived late on the first day, but was advised by fellow passengers that there was no event. Name Tags for passengers would be an advantage. Spoke to everyone, but had no idea of their names, with the exception of travellers I became friendly with. Whilst hotels ...read more were above average, I had to pay for milk in the hotel in Philadelphia. USA hotels should adopt the habit of providing the staples e.g. tea bags, kettles & milk for non USA clients. Air Travel, I found very stressful. Travelling between domestic & international was horrendous. The terminals are too far apart and when planes arrive late, I found had to run from one end of the airports to the other. More then 1.5 hours should be allowed for any air travel that involves domestic & international. Almost all the flights were running at least a half hour late, and I nearly missed the San Fran to Sydney flight (final calls were made before I could get anywhere near the gate. On the whole, it was a fantastic holiday, more time could have been spent in Philadelphia, which was by far the best part of the trip. I would certainly consider another East Coast USA or Canada trip. Special Mention for our Coach Driver - Grace, Grace by name Amazing Grace by professionalism & friendliness. Nothing was too much trouble.
Run professionally, good value and no complaints 1 , Australia, Aug 2014
Tour went smoothly - run professionally. Good value and no complaints. The trip to Niagara takes some time so you have to be prepared for two long days of coach travelling. Stops and commentary along the way plus a comfortable bus help the hours pass. In addition, the countryside is quite interesting. It was nice to pop into Canada for a couple of ...read more days too. We were blessed with perfect weather.
Had a fantastic time on the tour 0 , Australia, Oct 2013
Had a fantastic time on the tour, visiting different places and meeting people on the tour from around the world. Highly recommend doing a tour as you get to see different places that you normally wouldn't see traveling alone. Booking through Global Journeys was a breeze and would definitely book again.
We would certainly use Global Journeys again 4 , Australia, Sep 2013
On arrival at NYC, we had a bit of a wait for the Shuttle transfer to be organised (flight very full), but we were eventually delivered safely to our hotel. Check-in was quick and straightforward. The extra night we booked was essential to allow us some recovery time and opportunity to explore the surrounding area, incl Central Park. The Excelsior is ...read more reasonably good value for money by New York standards (this was our 2nd visit). We thought it was superior to the hotel we chose independently following the tour. Staff for the most part were excellent, attentive and caring. The half-day New York tour was very well-organised, with a very knowledgeable and personable local guide assisting. We knew we were covering a lot of ground in a short time, so the pace of the tour was no surprise, but it did take away from the relaxed nature of a holiday. On the plus side, we were exposed to plenty of great sights on the driving days and a good commentary + videos from our tour guide. Niagara Falls was spectacular, as ever, with Maid of the Mist as well as other optional tours, incl Skylon Tower, we took proving great highlights. Philadelphia was rushed, inevitably, but is certainly worth an extended time there. We were fortunate enough to have a return visit after the tour. Two days in Washington barely scratches the surface of what is on offer in that great city, but we made the most of the limited time, with the included sightseeing, visits to Arlington Cemetery and other monuments and museums, along with the dining and other options. The professionalism of both our tour guide, Kacy and driver, Domingo, was commendable and we were very pleased they were able to disembark us from the coach at Delaware Bridge on the return trip to New York (with the okay from Cosmos HQ), allowing us to be collected by a friend who lives in Pennsylvania. Considering the short duration of this tour, it is rushed, but we would recommend it to travellers with limited time or budgets who wish to see and experience as much of this part of NE America as possible, while suggesting it be combined with another regional tour as some of our fellow-pax did. Our thanks to Yvonne Brooks for organising and then reorganising our tour dates due to non-availability of our first choice. We would certainly use Global Journeys' excellent service again.
Just what we wanted after a 3 week cruise 0 , Australia, Sep 2012
Our Globus tour was New York and Washington - we were greeted by a very helpful agent in our NY hotel, who gave us lots of local hints. After our 3 days in NY, we travelled by Amtrac to Washington - great hotels great tours - short but just what we wanted after a 3 week cruise. Would go with Globus again.
Would not hesitate to book again with Global Journeys 1 , Australia, May 2012
I researched the different tours that were available and decided on this Cosmos tour with Global Journeys. I was not disappointed and we had a terrific time. I received great service from Yvonne, my tour consultant. Our guide Brett was very pleasant and showed a great knowledge of all facets of the tour. As with all coach tours there was a lot of travelling ...read more but the breaks and places we stopped helped to make the journeys go painlessly. The accommodation was of a very good standard with good facilities. I would not hesitate to book again with, or recommend, Global Journeys.
