Winter Wonderland 1 , NSW, Australia, Dec 2019
A wonderful Winter holiday highlighting the best of the Christmas markets in Europe. Helpful staff and great driver added to this fantastic experience!
A great trip through Europe 1 , QLD, Australia, Aug 2019
We had a done Cosmos Tour before so decided to go with them again and it didn't disappoint. The tour director was wonderful and organised everything perfectly, we were lucky to get beautiful weather and got to see lots of wonderful castles and palaces that will stay with us forever. This is a very affordable tour and great value for money. The only ...read more negative thing I would say is that the hotels are not very central but having said that there is plenty of public transport nearby and Cosmos do provide a tour in each city as part of the package. I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you Global Journeys for organising this.
Exceptional Eastern Europe! 1 , VIC, Australia, Aug 2018
A fantastic tour! Tour guide was very informative and had a great personality. Extra curricular activity choices were great, met some fantastic people, overall an awesome experience. Will definitely book again!
Great value introduction to Central Europe   3 , VIC, Australia, Dec 2017
This well organised tour was a great value introduction to some of the most beautiful cities in Central Europe. And the tour covered miles quickly, so we saw see lots of the countries that we traveled through. That's great, but be prepared for the fast pace. There are few chances to wander and soak up the atmosphere.

I also loved the diverse nationalities ...read more of the group. We all mixed well, thanks to the friendly encouragement of the superb tour leader Mladan, and the excellent driver Massimo. We stayed in good three star hotels were all well organised and synced with the elements and schedule of the tour. So, thanks for this interesting travel experience.
Outstanding value for money and an excellent itinerary   2 , QLD, Australia, Dec 2017
This was an excellent tour and to be honest we couldn't fault any aspect of it. We were travelling with our teenage daughter so we were concerned that the room would be cramped but nothing could be further from the truth. The room accommodated 3 very effectively and the rooms overall were great considering how affordable the tour was.

Anna our tour ...read more guide was the best I've seen having been on multiple organised tours in recent years. She was super professional and made everything seem hassle free. In terms of the itinerary this tour is excellent and I would highly recommend all the optional extras except maybe the Sound of Music tour. The Abbey was shut due to a clean up from too much frolicking the evening prior. The river cruise in Budapest however is a must do. Overall a delight and we would consider taking this same tour again we had such a great time.
Winter Wonderland 3 , NSW, Australia, Dec 2017
We did a Cosmos 9 day tour including the Christmas Markets. It was great value for money, very friendly experienced staff and a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this tour!
So much history. 3 , QLD, Australia, Jul 2017
The tour saved us so much stress, it was perfect and we loved the history of all countries. There was nothing that wasn't fabulous about the tour.
Very well organised holiday! 0 , 2906, Australia, Jul 2017
Amazing holiday, the highlights for me were the concert in Vienna and the cruise in Budapest! Tour Director, her name was Kristine, was excellent! Very helpful tab all times! The cities visited were so good!
Very interesting tour. White Xmas.   4 , VIC, Australia, Jan 2017
The tour was a great introduction to Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Munich. Fantastic sights visited especially during winter it was magical at night. It can be cold at times maybe most times but you learn to wear more layers underneath. It is worth seeing a winter Wonderland that we never experience at Xmas. Every city we visited was interesting ...read more and different with iconic beautiful especially at night. Try not to commit to all the side tours offered as you do require more free time to see and wander around places you may prefer to visit. Highlights included; dinner and show in Czech Republic and dinner and show in Budapest plus dinner boat cruise up the frozen Danube in Budapest. Vienna and Salzburg are beautiful cities. Travellers were very friendly and you can't help meeting people who you will keep in touch with. Great value for money. Hotels were mostly ok. Some rooms a bit small. Coach needed to have battery charging for electronic devices. Coach driver was very experienced and we felt safe. Definitely happy to have participated in this experience.
Great sightseeing trip 1 , VIC, Australia, Jul 2016
Cosmos is a great tour company. Excellent guides and drivers. Good mix of tour group ages too. Hotels are excellent. Time to do your own sightseeing too.
Great Trip 1 , New Zealand, Mar 2016
Great Holiday, Great time, Great memories. Had a wonderful time, will highly recommend. The 9 days tour was intense, cost efficient and well organized. Would like to suggest one or two extra days; an extra night to explore Munich and one extra night in either Vienna or Budapest.
Tour to Prague and Budapest 2 , NSW, Australia, Dec 2015
It was a nice tour and the tour guide was friendly and helpful. However, we didn't know that Cosmos wouldn't pick us up at the airport unless we pre-organised with them. We were waiting for them at the airport for more than two hours and were picked up by a wrong tour guide and then sent to a wrong hotel. By the time we couldn't find our names in that ...read more hotel, we couldn't find anyone to help us. We tried to call Cosmos but it was Sunday and nobody was available! We had to walk a long way to catch a bus back to airport, hoping to catch the next fixed-time pick-up. But the information desk at the airport told us the next one would be 4-5 hours later (not every 2 hours which was stated in the booklet). We had to catch a shuttle bus to our hotel. Until in the evening when we meet our tour guide, we knew that we had to organise our own way to our hotel, not waiting for cosmos coach to pick us up at the airport!. What an experience!
We want to return to explore more of these beautiful towns 5 , NSW, Australia, Mar 2015
Our tour guide, Sophia, was excellent. She had a full bus load and was always available to answer any questions. She always helped in any way and was charming in every way to the requests from her clients. As we were travelling in countries that had different cultures, language and interaction, Sophia did an amazing job to keep us all informed. The tour was excellent in regards to visiting these quite varied districts . From the large city of Munich to the small villages of Budapest. I was travelling with my two sisters and both commented about the tour and would definitely go on another Cosmos tour. Our driver was very experienced and we thought he was very safe regarding the long distances on the free-ways. His expertise when trying to manoeuvre the small streets and lane ways was exceptional. He was very courteous and helpful with any request. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would recommend the Prague, Vienna , Budapest tour. The sights were amazing in these towns and small villages. The only complaint is the the tour went too quickly and we want to return to explore more of these beautiful towns.
The tour itself was very enjoyable 0 , NSW, Australia, Mar 2015
The tour itself was very enjoyable. I do like the fact that they offered some of the excursions as optional so you can choose to do it on your own or with a local tour guide. It gave us the flexibility of still being able to make our own itinerary with the help of the tour director and the local guide. Tunde, who was our tour director and Giorgo, our ...read more driver were lovely people always ready to help and make our stay a memorable one. The Cosmos bus was awesome with the free wifi service! Never missed a chance to update my status or upload a photo on social media for family and friends back home! All the hotels were pretty decent (2-3 star) and all had free wifi access too. The best part of the tour was the Budapest dinner cruise along the Danube which I highly recommend to anyone taking this tour. Maybe something to look into for future tours- I was actually looking forward to doing a bit of sightseeing in Munich but unfortunately, it was just like a starting and end point of the tour where we didn't really do anything (except for the dinner on the last night).
The trip was terrific 1 , Australia, Aug 2014
The trip was terrific. The guide was the absolute best. She was so happy, well informed, likable, super organised, and caring, I could go on & on. This trip has restored my faith in coach touring. This was my fifth and I must say I was very apprehensive. The hotels were good, very well placed in the city for transport & local amenities. I will be looking forward to my next tour with you.
Very enjoyable tour made better by a fantastic Guide and Driver 0 , Australia, Sep 2013
Very enjoyable tour made even better by a fantastic Guide and Driver. Very happy with the tour 1 , Australia, Sep 2013
Overall was very happy with the Prague, Vienna & Budapest Tour. The tour bus was very comfortable (although a little strange that it had a toilet on board that we weren't encouraged to use - however adequate stops meant it not really necessary) and the seat rotation worked well. Our Tour Director, Anna, was wonderful. She kept us well informed and ...read more was very approachable with questions. Likewise our driver, Mauritzio, was skilled at getting around in European traffic conditions. Couldn't fault them and how the tour was conducted by them. The hotels we stayed at were all of a higher standard than I had anticipated, except for perhaps the one in Budapest which was adequate but not as nice. Although most were out of the city centre, Anna always provided details if we needed to get there in any spare time. Having taken up most of the optional excursions though, there wasn't much free time. This meant that in most places there wasn't a lot of time to actually go inside museums etc but was adequate to get an overview of places. I thought the one night in Vienna wasn't enough. It is such a beautiful city that it would have been good to have been able to spend another night there. One of the highlights was the dinner cruise in Budapest. Absolutely spectacular with the way the buildings are lit up. On our tour because we had a couple of 2 nights in places, it meant we didn't always have a really early start. The long drive from Budapest to Salzburg was at least broken with a wonderful stop at Melk Abbey - would have loved more time there too! The Sounds of Music optional excursion was a little disappointing with many of the main spots I wanted to see not included and there was no singing/music on the coach to put us in the mood! It could have been incorporated into a general Salzburg city excursion instead I think. Finally would love to say that all communications with our Global Journeys Tour Consultant, Georgie, were easy and every question promptly answered. I would highly recommend using Global Journeys and would recommend doing another Cosmos tour, although next time would try a tour that had longer stop overs in places so that I had more time to explore the city.
I am sure everyone considered the tour good value 0 , Australia, Jul 2013
I was a bit fearful of the tour before I started as I find it hard to be comfortable on any coach because of my height. However I was lucky and had 2 seats to myself but they were a bit hard. The organised evening dinners were very good and the Musical Evening in Vienna a credit to whoever organised that. I am sure that everyone considered the tour good value. Very pleased with the support from Global Journeys 1 , Australia, Jul 2013
I am very happy with the tour overall. The tour director is the best I have ever met, she is very conscientious, attentive and responsible. The programs are well planned to give us enough free time. Georgie, our ...read more Global Journeys Consultant was very helpful and efficient. I was very pleased with the support she gave me.
A brief overview and introduction to several European cities 0 , Australia, Mar 2013
This was a 'taster' tour - a brief overview and introduction to several European cities. It was well thought out, with adequate breaks from the coach driving and several two-nights in one place stops, which helps it it feel less like you are always packing and unpacking. Everything was well organized as our coach driver and tour director (Anna) were ...read more both very pleasant. Anna was full of information and always willing to help. She was very patient with stragglers who were late back to the coach, juggling the needs of the many with the lateness of a few very well. The only negative was that the DVD player of the coach broke so we couldn't see everything Anna had to show us.
