The best tour we have had with Cosmos. The tour director (Marcos) was brilliant who knew the tour "backwards" and his incidental information for us travelers was precis and easy to understand.

The tour exceeded our expectations. It was very well planned and organised and the tour guide was excellent. Tamas had a great personality and good sense of humour which made the trip atmosphere very pleasant. Our Cosmos tour through Switzerland was beautiful and really allowed for a relaxed way to see the country. The age group was much older than us which we were unaware of beforehand but that didn't change us having a great time and falling in love with Switzerland. Booking through Global Journeys made it an easy and hassle free process.

An enjoyable holiday & value for money as we were able to get a discount for being repeat clients. Switzerland was expensive but we managed by getting lunch at the co-op. One thing - there was a lady (with her extended family) from Oman who had a disability. Where it is great that she was able to travel like she did, I felt for her as the new coach ...read more was not fitted to allow for her disability. I'm sure she was embarrassed on how she had to enter & leave the coach. It did make me feel embarrassed for her. I don't think the rooms were able to provide for her either. Globus needs to look at this for any future clients with a disability.

Michelle from Global Journeys was great in helping to organise this tour. I have seen comments about the accommodation standards being less than expected. I am quite particular and can honestly say there was only one hotel where the accommodation was not good but it was still a good location, clean and comfortable. Saw a lot of Switzerland in a short time and I enjoyed the included train rides. Were lucky and got good weather every day.

An excellent tour with Flo Jable our guide being one of the best we have encountered in quite a number of escorted tours we have undertaken with Cosmos and other tour operators. Our driver Michale was very safety conscious and always very helpful when he could be. Overall, excellent value for money!

We totally enjoyed the Cosmos tour of Switzerland, no complaints whatsoever. Will choose Cosmos again for future holidays.

We had heard mixed reviews of Cosmos tours as being 2nd rate, with hotel accommodation remotely (inconveniently) located. However, we were generally quite impressed with both the standard of accommodation and its location, which with one exception were located in the central or tourist districts of the towns we visited. The optional activities were ...read more excellent as well. Special mention of our tour guide, Flo, who was first class and very professional. She knew how to maintain our interest and was an absolute reservoir of knowledge.

The optional excursions made the trip. The accommodation was sub-standard in the sporthotel Baeren in St Moritz. It was so small whenever you rolled over in bed you hit the wall and as the room was so small you couldn't move it away from the wall. It was nearly claustrophobic. I am 60yrs young and travelled on my own but not once felt alone. I now have email friends from London, Ireland and America. WOW! Anyone thinking of going just get up and go! We truly received a flavour of different parts of the beautiful and so multicultural country! The organisation was very good and our tour guide- Fiorenza Jable was always warm, supportive, cheery and also highly professional! Only couple of things I would like to mention as suggestions. 1.Our coach had been broken into in the central part of Bern during ...read more our free time. Then all actions were done properly: i.e. police report, calls for closing down the stolen credit cards etc. However, when I logged a claim with my Insurance Company (Cover-More), I was not refunded for my stolen laptop and other things as they said that I left my stuff on the unattended coach. I guess, some better strategies for the coach supervision should be considered. 2. We did not have time to visit art museums, e.g. Fiorenza suggested it was a lovely art collection of Impressionists in Lucerne's museum. But there was no time allocated for visiting; neither was there flexibility in the schedule which would allow interested people to do so. I, for example, plan to visit Germany, on that tour though I am very determined to spend a couple of hours in Dresden's Art Gallery. I am not sure that would be possible within the Cosmos Grand Tour of Germany. In this case I would have to make an additional visit to Dresden to see some would masterpieces, which is rather unpractical. Thank you very much for you interest and consideration.
