The tour was well organised and the tour guide ( Rumi Yamaguchi ) was excellent. All accommodations were very good and the optional excursions worth doing. We were send back to our hotel in taxis after the shows and dinners, which was very convenient. All in all, a nice holiday in all respects

Overall the introductory tour of Japan was very good. In order to cover many cities and towns on tour there was a lot of driving. Hence we arrived late in some cities eg Osaka. And there was not much opportunity for sightseeing. I recommend number of days in Tokyo at start of tour is reduced to fit an extra day in Osaka or Nagoya. We visited many shrines ...read more and temples. Perhaps too many. A review of mandated itinerary may be warranted by Cosmos to see if other interesting sites can be added to program. Not enough optional tours available. There were only one optional provided in Kyoto. Most were booked out. Cultural events in other cities would have been of interest. Hotels were of very high quality.
