This was our second of two GAdventures holidays in Thailand. There were fewer included activities and some of the hotels were a bit disappointing, but we were still very happy to get to explore this beautiful part of the world.
For those travellers who want somebody to do all the trip planning and admin for them, this trip is a great way to see all of the main highlights of Thailand. You’ll also get plenty of free time to do what you choose to do. Hotels and included meals were quite good too.
The trip with G Adventures was excellent - the team really looked after us. The trek itself was beautiful, but too short! I recommend if you have more time, to take a few extra days to fully enjoy the park. The food and accommodation provided fully met our expectations. This tour provided a lot of variation from seeing how the locals live, learn about their food, taste great dishes prepared by the locals, live from hotel, homestay, lodges to glamping. I had a fantastic trip to Vietnam, Laos and Thailand with G Adventures. I almost didn't go on the tour as I didn't realize I needed a visa to travel to Vietnam and Laos. I had to get a Visa last minute to travel to Vietnam and pay $300. I had not traveled to a country before where I needed a visa. I discovered at the airport that there were 15 other ...read more people on my flight to Vietnam that had to get last minute visas. Some people on the tour also realized at the last minute that they needed a visa. My travel agent could have been more helpful by checking that I had the visas prior to my leaving to go on my holiday.
My wife and I have just returned from an absolutely fantastic adventure to Jordan. I must admit that Jordan was a last minute choice after hostilities broke out in Israel and travelling there became impossible. So less than a week before the start of the tour a phone call to Hannah became necessary. As far as the trip is concerned this was the first G Adventures tour we have booked. As a National Geographic tour it is premium in inclusions but most importantly their best tour guides are included. Our guide Montaser could not be faulted. It might sound strange but it is the little things which really make a successful trip. Special local venues and restaurants that only a local knows about really add to the overall experience. As far as visiting Jordan what a pleasant surprise. The locals were always friendly, the food and of course the scenery and history. Every day was just spectacular! Petra, Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea, the Roman ruins and so much more. The best comment I think I can make is , “Do yourself a favour and visit Jordan.”

I have booked many trips with Global Journeys and Hannah has always been very helpful, with nothing being too much bother. Regarding this Portugal trip, guide Beatriz was THE good tour guide, a mix of information with some lighter moments. Great way to experience Hawaii. The 4 islands were so different and definitely worth seeing to get a better experience of Hawaii. Perfect amount of inclusions. Beautiful canyons, waterfalls, beaches and variety of plantations. Nice meals included. Good hotels and tour size. Lovely weather. Not too hot. Would definitely recommend.

Great trip by Globus. Well planned itinerary. Great travel director and specialists. The Machu Picchu/Cusco specialist was the best. He was a mine of information and he made visiting Machu Picchu and Cusco very interesting. Thanks to Georgie for booking this tour for me and sending me all the documentation prior to my departure from Australia.
Wonderful group of people (28 of us) with a large age range. Everyone got along and Alex, our guide was great. Had a few rainy days but that didn’t dampen our spirits. Itinerary was well thought out with just the right amount of free time. Would highly recommend this trip or any with Globus as I had no complaints at all.

From the outset the administration and communication from Globus was excellent. We loved the "app" that gave us al the info we needed. We were fortunate that my wife and I were the only people on the tour so we had a wonderful one on one experience with each of our guides in Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Osaka.
