Panorama Great Britain and Ireland tour 0 , NSW, Australia, Jun 2023
Yes, it was a great trip I would recommend Trafalgar tours. Rose our tour director was great nothing was too much trouble for her. The trip was well researched and there was enough free time. I found booking my trip online a bit stressful as it is encouraged to send emails then you need to wait for a reply which can sometimes be 2 days later. (GJ: Hi ...read more Susan, we do everything in our power to get back to our our clients really quickly, but occasionally we have to wait to get a definitive response from the Operator. Hopefully next time things will move along at the pace you expect.)
The best of Britain & Ireland 7 , VIC, Australia, Oct 2019
Unfortunately on the last leg of our flights the priority tags were removed from our luggage & then the express checkout meant nothing in Melbourne, meaning we probably got out 40mins-1hr later than we could have. While the tour director was very good, looking back on it now & even half way through the tour everything he was talking about in relation ...read more to the days events & the stores to visit was either preparing us for the feedback or promoting stores potentially linked with Trafalgar. It was good having it all organised & being driven around but some days could have been left free for people to do what they wanted. Some of the timing was a bit off just to cater for a tour group. We didn't need to go to the Guinness factory at 10am just to beat the crowds, considering we had a whole day free of inclusions. Had we known more about the optional extras we may have forgone some of them. Some of the set meals weren't that great either but again having everything organised meant it was less stressful. (GJ. Perhaps next time you might consider Trafalgar's other brand CostSaver - less inclusions and more free time to do as you choose, which of course makes the trip cheaper as a result.)
A holiday filled with fantastic sights, food, entertainment & company 1 , VIC, Australia, Aug 2019
This was our third tour with Trafalgar & once again we were not disappointed. Brooke our travel guide was brilliant & went the extra mile to make our trip one to remember. The sights & scenery of the Scottish Highlands, Ireland, Wales & England were breathtaking, our date with The Edinburgh Tattoo was a night we will never forget. We met some amazing ...read more people on our trip which always makes these tours so enjoyable, a lot of laughs, good times & long time friends were made. Gary & Phil our coach drivers were top class drivers, driving & reversing through some very tight roads & manoeuvring through some very heavy traffic conditions. Our booking made through Hannah at Global Journeys was silky smooth with replies to any queries answered straight away.
Simply unforgettable 2 , WA, Australia, Jun 2019
Right from the start I was looked after very well by Jemma Rosen from Global Journeys, Australia: no request was too much for Jemma from the beginning to end of my tour/travel experience... Fantastic Britain & Ireland Panorama   8 , VIC, Australia, Jun 2019
From the time I booked my trip with Global Journeys to the completion of my holiday the whole process was a pleasure. Jemma's communication was excellent - guiding me through the process to ensure everything would run smoothly which was especially important being a solo traveller.

Terry, our Tour Director, went the extra mile to ensure every traveller had a great travel experience - the best T.D. I have ever had. His attention to detail, super sense of humour and local knowledge made this a trip to remember.

I would not hesitate to recommend Global Journeys and Trafalgar Tours to anyone wanting to explore the world in a cost effective, time efficient way without compromising on comfort.
Fantastic trip of a lifetime   6 , QLD, Australia, Jun 2019
This was a trip of a lifetime. As always Trafalgar was a great company to tour with. We were taken to see a variety of different scenery, attractions and experiences.

My daughter and I both thoroughly enjoyed the trip from start to finish. Our favourite would have to be the Scottish highlands and the little Laggan hotel. Beautiful food there. Another ...read more favourite was the optional Irish cabaret with the Irish dancing and Noel Gittens, the comedian.

The ferry to Ireland was a great experience and the scenery on the drive to Killarney and the Ring of Kerry was beautiful. I also enjoyed the English countryside. We met a gypsy and stopped on the moors to see the wild ponies.

Our tour director Terry was 10/10. His commentary and knowledge of all the areas was great and he certainly made sure we all enjoyed the tour.
