9 Day Best of Britain   2 , NSW, Australia, Sep 2016
I chose this tour because it fitted my time frame whilst in England. The tour gives you a snapshot rather than an in depth picture, but was brilliant nonetheless. From beginning to end both Global Journeys and Insight Vacations were excellent to deal with. Many thanks to Yvonne at Global and Howard Insights tour director for their wonderful help and ...read more guidance in making this a holiday I'll remember for years to come. The coach was comfortable and drivers, Ian and Mike extremely adept at navigating through some of the smallest roads I've seen. I selected all the optional extras offered for a little more and was so glad I did, even eating haggis ( with a sip of red wine between bites). The group I toured with were fantastic fun and easy going - guess I lucked out there, more so with the weather. An all weather coat and thin cardigan were all that was required and some days not even needed. Overall a wonderful experience.
The best tour guide ever & a great coach driver 3 , Australia, Jul 2013
We had the best tour guide ever & a great coach driver. Our Irish tour guide made sure all her charges were up to date with the tour, made sure every body was back on the bus at all stops, very funny, laughed at herself. Would love to go on another tour with her. Our coach driver was the most professional driver we have been with. All the hotels were ...read more good except at Liverpool. The twin rooms were very small so we asked for a double room which was better. unfortunately we missed seeing the Beatles Museum plus our restaurant was very slow, most of the group left before desert around 9.45 pm. Some problem in the kitchen. Overall we packed in a lot of sights on the 7 day tour.
