“Covered all the places I wanted to see”

The first hotel we stayed at in Christchurch was under renovation and we were put into one of the old rooms where there was no air conditioning and it was very uncomfortable to sleep. We were placed in an updated room on the way back but it may be a good idea for Kirra to ensure that future travellers are put into a newer room so the trip doesn't start out with a bad experience. Other than that, it was an amazing experience and covered all the places I wanted to see. Thank you so much for organizing!

“Great but hectic”

The tour was great but hectic. The best part was the guide. Graham was extremely knowledgeable and went out of his way to point out things and stop in extra places if he had time. You are lucky to have such a great bus driver/guide. We all got very tired with early starts so a rest day or two would be good. On our free day in Queenstown we just slept in and then looked around the town. It was also very tiring for the driver. The TranzAlpine Train was a disappointment. We had already seen mountains etc and we had done the helicopter flight to the glacier (Highlight of the trip) so in hindsight if I had skipped it, it would have been OK. Overall a good tour.
