Best of Spain & Portugal     , VIC, Australia, Mar 2024
This tour was an excellent way to see Spain and Portugal and made even more delightful by our Tour Director Denise Lamas whose knowledge of the countries and their history and customs was exceptional as well as her kindness and friendliness to all. There were 36 on the Tour and as a solo traveller I was given a friendly welcome by all. Easter week ...read more in Spain was very special and in spite of the crowds there was an atmosphere of unity everywhere. The highlights of the tour were the visit to Seville and the perfume of the orange blossom, the snow capped Sierras and the Alhambra, the lunch with village ladies in their homes and of course the amazing Segrada Familia by Gaudi in Barcelona. I would recommend this tour to anyone who would like to visit Spain and Portugal.

I have booked many trips with Global Journeys and Hannah has always been very helpful, with nothing being too much bother. Regarding this Portugal trip, guide Beatriz was THE good tour guide, a mix of information with some lighter moments. Hotels were first rate, especially the NH Collection Porto Batalha on a central pedestrian square. The tour itself ...read more was a good mix of large cities and smaller towns, and even the times where we stopped only one night, the distances were short between.

This was an excellent tour overall. The places visited all had something special to offer, be it scenery, architecture or history. The local specialists were brilliant in their information and this was a highlight of the trip for me. The tour director was very well organised and every day ran smoothly for the passengers. The tour director Mikael offered ...read more very useful city orientations as they provided an insight into the history of the place and useful local information to get us around during our free time. The drivers Fernando and Jorge did a great job navigating through the small streets of Portugal in a very safe manner.
Way to go!     , SA, Australia, Oct 2023
Leaving Madrid and our first walled city of Avila, cobblestones, churches and overlapping cultures, was the start of journey through Spain, Portugal and Morocco to beautiful Lisbon and Seville, the mysteries of Morocco and the opulence of the Alhambra Palace in Granada. It is hard to pick one thing out as a highlight. The tour covered the countries ...read more and Cosmos looked after you. Some free time for the more independent traveller but great tour leader, drivers and comfy Coach, to make for easy travel. The wifi was a bonus.
