Fantastic Croatia and Albania     , VIC, Australia, Nov 2023
Wonderful group of people (28 of us) with a large age range. Everyone got along and Alex, our guide was great. Had a few rainy days but that didn’t dampen our spirits. Itinerary was well thought out with just the right amount of free time. Would highly recommend this trip or any with Globus as I had no complaints at all.
Christmas markets   , NSW, Australia, Nov 2023
As usual, Hannah from Global Journeys was very helpful with my booking, and I will be booking again with her. The Trafalgar trip itself was more relaxing than most in that there were three night stays in each of Prague, Vienna and Budapest. The tour was well planned, and the colder weather only added to the atmosphere, especially with the wonderful ...read more Christmas markets we went to in Vienna and Budapest. The Vienna hotel (Hilton Danube Waterfront) was disappointing for its location in a residential area away from amenities.
The Best of the Balkans     , NSW, Australia, Oct 2023
The title says it all!! The Best of the Balkans was thoroughly enjoyed! The coach and driver were professional and comfortable. The hotels were clean, comfortable and all staff welcoming and professional. The tour director, Jasmina, was the most amazing knowledgeable, helpful caring and genuine tour director I have ever met on all the tours that I have ...read more been on. She did have a few challenging moments that she handled professionally and with kindness. She is ! in a million!!!

I must add that some of the food that was served including breakfast and dinner, in the hotels were a little missing the target. There was a few gluten free passengers on my trip and there was little in the way of desserts, only fruit and more fruit and mostly only bread was offered at breakfast time. Maybe a small amount of cereal and pastry or sweet cake would of been a welcomed change .

The places we visited were amazing and if time had permitted, a longer stay would of been welcomed. Thank you to Tracey for all of your help booking this amazing trip for me!!
Great tour through interesting countries     , NSW, Australia, Oct 2023
The tour covered a lot of ground in two weeks - this was expected. The tour director was fabulous as were the local specialists. Given the history of the countries we visited, the tour director gave a very insightful and balanced commentary. He was very pleasant and dealt with some challenging guests in a calm, considerate and gentle way. I would highly ...read more recommend this tour but encourage potential guests to familiarise themselves with the itinerary - the long drives on some days and the fact that the food will not be the same as what you get at home. It's all part of the experience. (GJ. Great photo - it looks like a painting!)
