A wonder-filled tour through Alaska. 0 , WA, Australia, Jul 2022
We both thoroughly enjoyed our Globus Tour of Alaska. We saw much, learned even more, and that is what we enjoy about these sort of tours. Thanks to Hannah for recommending, and Globus for executing a magnificent tour.
Alaska at its Spectacular Best 1 , NSW, Australia, Jun 2022
My husband and I have just returned from Globus' 10 day Spectacular Alaska tour and it did not disappoint. Beautiful scenery, icebergs, glaciers and plenty of animals to see. Even Denali was visible which was truly inspiring. Alex our travel director - being a local - was very knowledgeable and had many great stories to tell and Bob our coach driver ...read more was always very professional. There were a few long driving days due to the amount of territory we had to cover but plenty of breaks were provided along the way. Would thoroughly recommend this tour and Globus.
Where are the bears? 0 , VIC, Australia, Jun 2016
It was an okay tour. Not many wild animals to spot. We thought it would be like a safari tour, where we could spot a lot of wild animals (moose, renders and sheep) roaming around the big landscape, particularly during the Wilderness Expedition. Accommodation was good with the exception of Fairbanks: the room is too big for nothing (considering we were ...read more out all day), dark, has dirty couches, old. The vanity is too small in comparison to the room size. At Denali the cabins are not suitable for hot summer days. The room was like an oven when we entered. The fan right above your head would just give you a headache and noise. The room was shaking when people were walking outside, particularly when the porters were dragging suitcases at 5am.
