Continue your journey along the Canso Causeway to stunning Cape Breton Island. Set out on a scenic drive by the pristine shores of Bras d'Or Lakes, Canada’s only inland sea. Next, stop at the Gaelic College. Watch North America’s first Gaelic language short film: Faire Chaluim MhicLeoid - the Wake of Calum MacLeod. Afterward, learn how the Great Kilt was made during a brief kilt-making demonstration. Learn a few handy Gaelic phrases and join in the fun of a “milling frolic”…practice a Gaelic song while sitting around a table and beating a large loop of woolen cloth in rhythm. Stay: Inverary Inn (2 Nights) (B)
4

Cabot Trail

Set off to explore the Cabot Trail and fall in love with its rugged terrain and spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. Visit the famed St. Peter’s Church in Cheticamp. “Wonderful trip of the Maritimes”

The consultant that I dealt with over the phone was polite and very helpful. All queries were dealt with promptly. I hadn't heard of Collette tours until we were looking to do a Maritimes Tour. We were very impressed with the service and would look at touring with Collette again and I would recommend the company to friends. We loved the scenery (especially the Bay of Fundy and Hopewell Rocks) and the history of the Maritimes. We felt that in some places too much time was spent when there wasn't a lot to see. The hotels we stayed in were great. The farewell dinner and the lunch we had at The Cookhouse on the Bay of Fundy Trail were highlights. We met a lot of interesting people which also adds to the travel experience.
