Unforgettable journey through two awe-inspiring countries   2 , QLD, Australia, Aug 2018
Yvonne made the booking experience a breeze and APT fitted the bill in delivering an amazing holiday experience that we could not fault. The Northern Lights was a bonus we never expected! Our friends followed our escapades on Facebook and are making their own plans now to visit Canada and Alaska. Very much looking forward to our next adventure.
Interesting and unusual experience 1 , NSW, Australia, Jul 2016
We would book with Global Journeys again. We had a lot of rain, but it was still very interesting. The Ship Le Soleal was excellent, the food was very good and the crew attentive, obliging and friendly. The professionalism of the guide in Canada was outstanding.
Disappointed in alaskan land accommodation 2 , NSW, Australia, Aug 2015
The ratings are covering the Canadian portion of the tour. I was very disappointed in the accommodation and service on the Alaskan land portion of the trip. I realise most of the lodges were in the wilderness regions but I felt they could at least update the accommodation, this was a 4 to 5 star level trip but I felt the Alaskan land portion was 3 ...read morestar.
Coach, coach driver and tour guide were excellent 1 , WA, Australia, Jun 2015
The APT handled part of the tour including the coach, coach driver, tour guide and organisation were excellent. The princess cruise component of the tour was also excellent, the land component handled by Princess however was left lacking. Accommodation was generally good, but staffing leadership was poor and food average. One of the coach drivers should ...read more not be in charge of a coach, his driving skills were abysmal.
A pleasure from beginning to end 4 , Australia, Jun 2014
We travelled with APT to Canada/Alaska, and our tour guide and driver inspired such confidence that we could just sit back and soak up the magnificence. There were no problems and even the weather was perfect. This wasn't the cheapest of tours, but we felt it delivered everything it promised and the experience was a pleasure from beginning to end.
A 6-star trip and we will travel with APT again 4 , Australia, May 2013
Excellent tour, we had a great Aussie group of 34 with us. APT's Tour Director, Inge, was very professional, always up to date, checked ahead, we arrived and our room keys were brought to Inge on the coach, so just had to walk off to our rooms, baggage handling great. Stephen our Coach Captain was very professional but also had a sense of humour and ...read more had many jokes and experiences to tell. Rooms were 1st class, we had one little hiccup at dinner in Banff, spoke to Inge and she called ahead next day and told Fairmont to lift their game, which they did and we had no other issues. The Rocky Mountaineer was 6 stars, great crew, they could see we wanted to enjoy ourselves and Kevin and crew were 1st rate. We had a ball but not I think over the top. All in all a 6-star trip, & we will travel with APT again, even the weather looked after us, it was sunny most days. Frances from Global Journeys was just great in the leadup to our trip - I have never booked a trip on the internet before, we had no problems at all, and we want to use you again if we can find the right trip. Any queries I had Frances answerred, she sent me links to all things I needed to do, visa's, travel insurance, etc, etc, transferred funds by 'ebank'. All great, thanks again to all at Global Journeys and APT, Noel & Patricia.
